ABOUT US

Saving lives by delivering hope to hurting veterans. Amplifying awareness in others of veteran suicide and PTSD. Helping veterans with everyday needs.

Houston Project was born out of a mother's wish to honor her son and educate the general public regarding veteran suicide with a determination and hope of preventing what happened to Houston Tumlin from happening to others suffering from this debilitating illness. Houston Project, a 501(c)3 charitable organization, does this by offering support to veterans with PTSD and other mental issues.

WE NEED YOUR HELP in order to reach those in need and educate our community with an awareness of this growing problem in our country. Are you aware that WE LOSE 22 A DAY TO VETERAN SUICIDE?

We raise money to pay utility bills, house repair, groceries, transportation, medical bills, etc. for veterans in our community.

We are open on Thursday and Friday from 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM. We sell tshirts, hats, purses made from military tents, bracelets made from donated uniforms, candles, wax melts, popcorn and much more.

Donations are much appreciated. We also host several fundraising events every year. We really appreciate your help. Be sure to follow us on facebook @ Houston Project.
